Rights, Duties and Qualifications
Basic Tasks of Volunteers:
a. Taking an active role in major charitable activities; for example, aiding victims of natural disasters and providing financial support to the underprivileged.
b. Participating in ongoing charitable activities such as Helping the Elderly, Supporting the Young, Sponsoring Education and Aiding the Underprivileged.
c. Organizing other charitable activities including promoting volunteer work and helping special groups-in-need.
Basic Qualifications for Volunteers:
a. Over 16 years of age.
b. In good health and capable of average intellectual and manual labor.
c. The ability to practice charitable volunteer work with love and dedication.
d. The ability to observe relevent laws and regulations.
Basic Rights of Volunteers:
a. The right to make suggestions and recommendations concerning volunteering, charitable organizations and other elements relevant to charitable volunteer organizations.
b. The right to know about the services provided by the project(s) and the beneficiaries of the project(s).
c. The right to choose whether or not to accept charitable tasks arranged by the volunteer organization.
d. The right to enjoy priority access to services provided by the volunteer organization and volunteer training.
e. The right to enjoy other rights stipulated under relevant laws and regulations provided by the Municipal Association.
f. After volunteering for three or more activities and an audit, the right to charitable volunteer certificates and a service record.
Basic Obligations of Volunteers:
a. Fulfill commitments to participate in volunteer activities.
b. Actively protect the good image of charitable volunteers.
c. Not to join in any activities for profit or engage in any activity contrary to public morality in the name of charitable volunteers.
g. Perform in accordance to relevant laws and regulations provided by the Municipal Association.
