 Annual Work and Audit ReportIn its drive to create an open, transparent organization, the Shanghai Charity Foundation opens its books for an annual independent audit conducted by the Shanghai Zhonghu Huyin Auditing Company, one of the largest and most prestigious auditing firms in China. Before March 1st each year, the Shanghai Zhonghu Huyin Auditing Company publishes a series of reports detailing all of the SCF’s financial activities during its previous fiscal year, which lasts from January 1st until December 31st. They include a balance sheet, a statement of business activities, a cash flow statement, a financial income and expenditure statement, a management expense statement and a financing expense statement. The series of reports are then published in Jiefang Daily, one of Shanghai’s leading newspapers, opening up the SCF to public oversight. For the first time, the SCF is publishing an English translation of its Annual Work and Audit report and is proud to further open up its activities to the public.
