Latest NewsEarthquake relief effortsThe devastating May 12, 2008 8.0 magnitude earthquake in Wenchuan, Sichuan inspired an outpouring of donations across the country and the world. Shanghai residents and international citizens living in Shanghai expressed their sympathies and generosity with gifts flowing into the SCF every day for survivors of the earthquake. The youngest donor this week was infant Zhu Xinyu, just 42 days old. As of 5pm, May 18, 2008, the SCF had received a total of 161 million yuan in donations of money and goods.
